Coordinate personal & the assistant coaches’ recruiting correspondence with prospective student-athletes, high school and/or junior college coaches and other appropriate entities and/or parties.

Support the educational mission of the University and the professional obligation to enhance intercollegiate athletics by providing opportunities to educate students interested in this field through internship opportunities and student worker positions.Manages, recruit, hire, and supervise the recruiting operations and creative media staff.Oversee recruiting travel logistics for all NIU coaching staff and prospective student-athletes, including in home visits, school visits, official visits, and unofficial campus visits.

Responsible for the use and maintenance of the department’s Purchasing Card (PCard).Coordinate submission of required paperwork for budgeting, expense reports, receipts, and reimbursements.Manage and monitor the football program’s recruiting budget in regards to coaches travel, official visits, and in house operational costs.Monitor and work collaboratively with the staff to keep them updated on rules-education and changes to NIU, MAC, and NCAA guidelines.Keep records & monitor compliance of coaches staff’s contacts & evaluations of prospects.Be committed to the compliance process and assist with rules-education for the staff.
